1. Where does your inspiration come from?
My inspiration comes from practicing yoga whether it's on the beach or in a park, it really helps me to de-stress so I can think clearly and feel recharged! I also love reading books because they allow my imagination to run wild. A love story, self improvement, or even a motivational read help me to think outside the box. Lastly, a huge inspiration booster for me is traveling to magical places. Exploring new scenery and different cultures is eye opening as well as an amazing learning experience.
2. What is your big why? What keeps you going professionally?
It's my goal to artistically tell a story through photos- whether it is capturing the raw emotion between sweethearts in love or a cheerful laugh of a high school senior. I want those fleeting moments to be remembered when they look back at their photos or album.
Being a creative entrepreneur is hard work, but it is very fulfilling at the same time. I have connected with so many wonderful people, from my very own clients, to vendors, to other local creatives. Many of them have become my friends. It makes this journey so much sweeter and worth pushing forward.
3. Favorite San Diego restaurants?
I am a major foodie who loves to explore local restaurants on a weekly basis. I am still a newbie to San Diego, but one of the very first places I went to was Urban Solace (in North Park) which exceeded my expectations! Another spot that I am addicted to is Tajima Ramen (in the East Village). My favorite is the Spicy Sesame Ramen! I am a huge cookie lover & The Cravory Cookies are out of this world amazing. The chocolate chip cookies with a big glass of milk and I am totally in heaven!
4. Favorite guilty pleasure?
My favorite guilty pleasure is probably binge watching Netflix and Hulu series. This tends to become a problem, because I really don't know when to stop. A recent favorite was The Killing on Netflix. I have also loved Breaking Bad, Dexter, Fuller House, Gilmore Girls, The Vampire Diaries, The Path, and the list goes on and on!
